What made you decide to start this company?
I was inspired by a Brazilian businessman called Ricardo Semler who created an amazing culture at his company based on trust and freedom.
What's your biggest hope/aspiration for this company?
It's a cliche but my aspiration for this company is that our people can build and work in a culture free from the usual corporate bureaucracy and cynicism where together they can make a positive difference in the world.
What is the best thing about working at risr/?
Not having a boss.
Describe a typical day at work?
I mainly work from home and a typical day is pretty much like most people's: email, spreadsheets, too much slack and of course zoom! Sometimes I get to ride on my bicycle to meetings and that is a treat.
